Hair Care Guide

We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. Here are a few helpful tips to keep your Strands luscious and flawless

We suggest shampooing and conditioning your hair bundles using sulfate-free products before installation. Then proceed to do the same as needed while wearing the hair.

Always (especially with 16” wefts or longer) comb / brush your extensions from the bottom up! – Start with combing the ends first to eliminate any tangling and then work your way up! This prevents any unnecessary stress on the weft, which can cause shedding.

Wash your strands every 1 – 2 weeks to keep hair soft and manageable. Deep condition with every shampoo (if possible). Ensure that you apply ample conditioner to the root of the weft and to the braid (your own hair). Lightly comb your extensions with the conditioner to ensure it is evenly spread throughout and smooth.

Either air dry or use a hooded dryer (roller set, wrap or loose) to dry your strands. DO NOT use a hand held dryer to “blow out” your strands, this causes tension at the root of the weft and can lead to shedding. For curly extensions, we recommend a diff user attachment for a hand held blow dryer.

Make sure to fully dry your braided natural hair to avoid mildew from dampness. Once your natural hair and extensions are dry you are ready to style! For a full long lasting curly look, we suggest using a styling tool to curl hair while it is in its wavy state.

For a sleeker look, use a flat iron to silken your hair. Keep styling products to a minimum to avoid weighing down the hair. A light Argan oil or serum is recommended for daily use, especially for conditioning the cuticle tips.

At night, wrap your hair with a silk scarf to maintain your straight look. Pin curl or add flexi rods along with a satin bonnet or silk scarf to keep your curls.

When wearing curlier textures we suggest diluting a curl conditioner with water. With a spray bottle, mist your strands to lock in the moisture and keep strands soft and manageable.
